Celebration of Glorious Annual function

Pragyan Public School, Jewar organized grand annual function ‘Tarang’ -2016 (Incredible India). The function commenced with the felicitation of guests by the school Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma and the Manager Mr. Harish Sharma. Honorable Shri N.P Singh (District Magistrate, Gautam Budha Nagar) was the Chief Guest for this occasion. Shri Shamim Ahmed Anshari (Civil Judge Junior Division /Judicial Magistrate, Jewar) and Honorable Shri Vivek kumar (S.D.M, Jewar) were some special guest of this occasion. Other honorable guests were Shri J. K. Singh(Master trainer C.B.S.E) Shri Sanjay kumar (Tahsildar, Jewar) Mohammed Ali (Nayab Tahsildar, Jewar) Shri Dilip kumar (C.O, Jewar) Shri Sunil kumar Mudgal (Khand Education officer),Shri Omprakash Verma (Chairman Jewar). Dheerendra Pratap (Chairman Rabupura).On this occasion Parents along with some prestigious persons of the area were invited. School Principal along with the Manager presented bouquet as a token of love to the Chief guest, Special guests and other important guest of this occasion. Chief Guest was greeted with the “Guard of Honour”. The function started with a lamp lighting ceremony by the Chief guest Shri. N.P. Singh. The annual function Tarang – 2016 (Incredible India) lasted from 10:00 am. to 4:00 pm. in the evening.

The performance of the students in various cultural activities rooted the spectators to their seat. The special attraction of ‘Incredible India’ were the Presentation of various periods of ancient time, medieval time and modern time. Various periods like Vedic, Buddha, Jain, Maurayan, Ashoka, Vikramaditya, Mugal, Shivaji, Jhansi upto the modern era of Gandhi Ji, Bhagat singh, Sukhdev were shown with pictorial beauty. Various state dances like Punjabi, Bangali, Rajasthani, Hariyanvi, Gadhwali, Kathakali, Bharatnatyam etc. were acknowledged by the spectators present on this occasion. “The fairy dance” by the small kids of Primary wing highlighted the evils of the society and was the centre of attraction for all the guests. In this modern era the need of self – defence is must The students of ‘Taekwando’ made every one wonders truck by presenting different students needed for self defence. The commendable efforts of the wing incharges Mrs. Meenakshi chaudhary, Mr. Shailendra Singh, Mr. K.P.Singh, Mrs. Bhuvneshwari, Ms. Shalini, Ms. Priyanka Sharma, Mr. Deeraj Singh, Mr. Rishabh, Mr. Rajat, Mrs. Sheetal Rastogi, Mr. Rajendra Nigam, Mrs. Kavita, Mrs. Ravita, Mr. Sazz, Mr. Fareed, Mr. Ajeet Singh, Mr. Vijay Sharma etc. contributed a lot to make this function unforgettable. The Chief guest in his speech laid emphasis on the need of good values in the students. He said, ‘Values cannot be taught, but they may be thoughtfully woven in the curriculum. He briefly stated the significance of living in this ‘Incredible India’ and inspired the parents, teachers and students to love and respect Incredible and Invisible India. School Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma lauded the efforts of teachers and students who made the function successful.

The function came to close with a vote of thanks proposed by the school manager Mr. Harish Sharma.
