Description : Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on 15th August 2022 in Pragyan Public School ,Jewar. The staff, students and parents attended this to mark the 75th year of freedom from the British rule as Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.On this special occasion, the programme started with flag hoisting by the Manager Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma.The cultural program commenced with welcome of chief guest SDM Jewar Mr. Rajnikant.The program was initiated with Saraswati vandana and lightning of lamp.The chief guest Mr. Rajnikant delivered a wonderful speech. Yog Guru Mr. Ashok Pahalwan also motivated the students with beautiful lines.The Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma addressed the gathering appealing to their nationalistic spirit and urging them to take pride in being an Indian and fulfilling one’s duty with responsibility. She also emphasized the role of youth today as the true wealth of a country. This was followed by a musical rendition by the school house groups Gandhi,Tagore,Nehru,Radhakrishnan,Kalam and Vivekanand which sang patriotic songs,solo bhajan and hymn that awakened everyone’s feelings towards the motherland. The students also showcased their patriotism and talent through patriotic dance to commemorate the occasion . They were judged by the Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma,Mr. Yadav Kishore Ji,Yog Guru Mr. Ashok Pahalwan and Primary wing In-charge Ms. Priyanka Sharma .Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
