Description : 24th December, 22 Pragyan Public School, Jewar hosted District Level Sports Meet under the aegis of Nehru Youth Center, Gautam Buddha Nagar(Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports) on 24th December in the school campus.The program was started with the welcome of our chief guest Shri Dhirendra Singh,MLAJewar.Hon'ble Manager of PragyanMr.Harish Kumar Sharma,the Principal Ms.Deepti Sharma along with the chief guest Shri Dhirendra Singh MLA Jewar paid salutations to the Lord Almighty through lamp lightning.A beautiful welcome song was presented by our young artists. Many schools of this region participated in this event.Various games were played by the students. An intense session of kabbadi for boys was held at the ground where a display of strength and persistence was put on by fellow participants.High Jump for both boys and girls and Shot Put by boys and girls were performed by the students. A game of Kho-Kho for girls took place thereafter. Kho-Kho is a game which takes us back to our childhood and all the participants played enthusiastically portraying their speed and agility.A great amount of precision, intellect and vigor was seen in all of the games. Various series of races like 100 mtr and 200 mtr races for boys and girls took place.Hon'ble Manager Sir gave a beautiful and motivating speech .The day was filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish. The winners of the games were awarded with prizes by the chief guest,Manager Sir and Principal Ma'am.The Principal Ms.Deepti Sharma thanked all the staff and the teachers for their cooperation and support and advised the students to keep up their sportsman spirit.
