Description : Pragyan Public School Jewar organized various competitive activities in and outside the school campus for ‘voter’s awareness campaign’ under the directions of Election commission of India and guidance of Sri N.P Singh District Magistrate G.B Nagar. First of all an inter-class poster making competition was organised on 11th Jan 2017 in which the students made colorful posters on the theme “Every Vote Counts”. In that competition Rishika Vashishtha of IX D got Ist position, Khushi Chaudhary of IX D, IInd Position & Ankit Chaudhary of XI C got IIIrd Position respectively. Again on 12th Jan 2017an Inter School Poster making competition was organized in the school campus in which Rishika Vashishtha, Khushi Chaudhary and Ankit Chaudhary won Ist, IInd, IIIrd places respectively. On 16th Jan 2017 an Inter-School Rangoli Making Competition was organized in the school. In which Adarsh Kanya Inter college Jewar got 1st position, Divine Mother International school got IInd and Pragyan Public School won IIIrd place. Total Number of six schools of Jewar region including Pragyan Pblic School Jewar, Shri Ram Model Inter college Thora, SRS Public School Jewar, Janta Inter college Jewar, Adarsh Kanya Inter college Jewar, Divine Mother International School Neemk. Participated in that competition. All the events were inspected by Shri Vivek Kumar Shrivastav SDM and Shri Sanjay Kumar Tehsildar Jewar. On 11th Jan 2017, Pragyan Public School Jewar again organized an “Essay writing competition” on the topic “Vote Right”. All the students expressed their valuable ideas through their essays. The Principal of Pragyan Public School Jewar addressed the students and teachers and focused light upon the value of vote in the democracy. She also took a pledge with all school members to spread awareness about voting right. A rally was also organized by the students and teachers of Pragyan Public School Jewar. Shri Sanjay Kumar ji Tehsildar, Jewar inaugurated the rally by showing the green signal. It started from Adarsh Kanya Inter college Jewar and rested at Tehsil campus Jewar. At Tehsil campus, the students presented various colourful programmes to aware the people about the importance of their vote in the democratic system. In his address to the gathering at Tehsil campus Shri Sanjay Kumar ji Tehsildar appreciated Sri Harish Kumar Sharma, Manager and Smt. Deepti Sharma Principal, Pragyan Public School, Jewar for their best co-operation and contribution in the educational as well as social activities. He pointed out that Pragyan Public School, Jewar is the school of this, region that keeps on toiling for the overall development of the student and of the whole society.
