Description : Grand celebration on Independence day The 70th Independence Day of India was celebrated at Pragyan Public School with a great deal of patriotic zeal and fervor. The day began with the hoisting of the Indian flag by our Manager Mr. Harish Sharma and Principal, Mrs. Deepti Sharma followed by the National Anthem. The entire school premises reverberated with the rhythmic beats of many patriotic songs that was performed by the students of five Houses. There was Inter House Singing Competition in which five houses participated .The performance of the student spell bounded the spectators .The judgment was initiated by the Judges (Mr. Vivek Kumar Srivastav, SDM Jewar, Mrs. Deepti Sharma Principal , Pragyan Public School Jewar, Mr. Rajat Sirothiya, Head of QAID).The Competition was organized into three categories one is solo classical song ,2nd one is Hindi patriotic in Group and 3rd one is English Hymn in Group. In solo classical Tagore House ( Kasish Class- VIII) got first position, Gandhi House ( Jagrati IX ) got second position & Vivekanand House (Shivani Class -X ) got third position. In Hindi Patriotic Group song RadhaKrishnan House got Ist Position, Nehru House Got IInd Position & Vivekanand House got IIIrd Position. In English Hymn in Group RadhaKrishnan House got Ist Position, Gandhi House Got IInd Position & Tagore House got IIIrd Position. The program came to a close with the speech of our Chief Guest who motivated the students &blessed them for their bright future. After that Honorable principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma proposed a vote of thanks and she also lauded the efforts of various teachers and congratulated the team of students for their inspired participation.
