Description : Pragyan public School organized 'Samgra Gram Parivartan' an interactive workshop for the farmers of nearby areas on 24th December, 2015. The workshop was started at 10:00 a.m. The chief guest honorable Shri Kamal Tawade (Ex. I.A.S.) along with his wife honorable Shila Ji were welcomed by the school Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma and Manager Shri Harish Kumar Sharma Ji. The Programme was started with the lighting of Lamp before Goddess Maa Saraswati by the chief guest. About hundred farmers from nearby areas came to attend this workshop. They were welcomed by the students of Pragyan Public School by singing welcome song. The chief guest stressed on the needs of organic farming. He laid emphasis on the significance of organic farming for our future generation. Shri Radeshyam Sharma who is an eminent farmer and well known for his organic farming brought samples of fruits and some vegetable which he raised without the use of chemical fertilizers. Shri Kamal Ji has said that he only wants to pay gratitude to the people who does good for the society. He said he only wants to give market to such peoples. His aim is to take forward those people who does good for the society. He has a dream to make every village a model village. Shri Radhe Shyam ji shared his views on organic farming and told many advantage of this farming. He gave many tips to make their crop disease free. The farmer whose crop is harmed by Nilgai can adopt traditional method to stay them away from the field. He told that he uses dung and urine of Sahiwal cow in his field. He uses no chemical in his field and there is no financial loss also. Many questions related to organic farming were asked by the farmers as well as students who were there in the workshop. Mrs. Shila Tawde also shared her experience and said that if we are strong, we can do anything. She quoted many Slokas from ‘Geeta’ the holy book to give clear outlook of this mission. She also laid emphasis on the point that everybody should read ‘Geeta’ the holy book. She considered it the best book on psychology. It is our greed to get more, tempt us to use short cut in life. Because of this greed, we are going on making crop fields infertile by the use of chemical fertilizers. But we have to change to give our future generation something good. She quoted the example of Galilio who did against church but proved his theory that the earth moves round the sun. First it was not accepted but now we all know he was right. In the same way good thing meet obstacles but finally they win. At the end of the workshop the principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma gave vote of thanks to all the persons who were there in the workshop. She also appreciated Mr. Radheshyam a progressive farmer for his contribution in the field of agriculture who are engage in organic farming.
