Description : The 72nd Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at Pragyan Public School on 26 January 2021. The programme was commenced by unfurling the National Flag by Mr Harish Kumar Sharma, Manager . The students saluted the National Flag and pledged themselves to upholding the honour and integrity, diversity and uniqueness that is “ India”. The students showcased their talent by performing different cultural programs on the stage. The choir group presented the patriotic song “ Ye Bharat Desh Hamara “. They also paid tribute to the Corona Warriors and our freedom fighters by patriotic dance performances. The whole school joined the performers and the program filled the surroundings with the aroma of patriotism.The melodious music and graceful movements of the dancers were spellbinding. Mr Neeraj Talan delivered his speech in the honour of our freedom fighters and the nation. Mr K P Singh also presented a beautiful patriotic poem. Mrs Deepti Sharma,Principal wished all a very happy Republic Day. The school also organised the Republic Cup for the senior students in which Cricket is for the boys and Badminton is for the girls. The school Principal Mrs Deepti Sharma inaugurated the game. She addressed the students and urged them to do their best in all walks of life and feel proud of being Indians. She urged the educators to provide open sky for the students for their all round development. Later, she announced the result of Badminton and congratulated the players and their coaches. In Republic Cup Badminton, the winners were Manisha Chhonker XI A2 (First), Sapna Attri, XI A2(Second) and Brijesh Chaudhary XII A2(Third).
