Description : Pragyan Public School Jewar 18th March,23 A workshop for teachers was held in Pragyan Public School on 18th March,2023.The topic was "Slow Learners and Interventions".The resource person was Ms.Asha Sangal a Special Educator in Shiv Nadar School Noida.The Manager Pragyan Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma and the Principal Ms.Deepti Sharma welcomed Ms.Asha Sangal by presenting her a sapling.Ms. Asha Sangal stated that low achievers or slow learners refers to students with low cognitive ability to grasp fundamental knowledge in the mainstream education system .Students of this category usually struggle to carry on with normal learning process and teachers have to teach them based on their ability. In the workshop Ms.Asha Sangal suggested for the modification in the curriculum and study material for slow learners. She also emphasized on the modification in classroom environment,peer tutoring and use of groups in learning. She advised to organize remedial classes for the slow learners so that their problems can be addressed in a separate class at their own pace. Remedial classes provide students with a comfortable learning environment.The session was interactive because the teachers also asked their queries. Overall the session was very informative and impressive.The Principal Ms.Deepti Sharma thanked Ms.Asha Sangal for imparting many valuable techniques .
