Description: Pragyan Public School, Jewar, celebrated Van Mahotsav Week 2026 from 1st to 4th July 2026 with a series of meaningful activities to promote environmental awareness and sustainable living among students. 1st July "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" Campaign: Nursery to Grade II students planted saplings with their parents at home and shared photographs of their plantation drive. A plantation drive was also conducted on the school campus with active participation from students, teachers, coordinators, the Principal, and the school management, spreading the message of "Save Environment, Save Future." 2nd July Best Out of Waste Activity: Students of Grades III to V displayed their creativity by making useful and decorative items such as bird feeders, dustbins, paper fans, tiaras, and other innovative models using recyclable materials. 3rd July – Environmental Awareness Activities: Students of Grades IX to XII participated in Slogan Writing, Poster Making, Digital Poster Making, and Digital Presentations on environmental conservation, expressing their ideas and commitment towards protecting nature. 4th July – Educational Excursion: Students of Grades VI to VIII visited Virat Nursery, Jewar, where they learned about a variety of trees, shrubs, herbs, medicinal, fruit-bearing, and flowering plants, including Amla, Lemon, and Tulsi. The visit provided valuable practical knowledge about plant care, biodiversity, and environmental conservation. The entire programme was conducted under the guidance of Director & Manager Dr. Harish Kumar Sharma and Principal Dr. Deepti Sharma. The activities were successfully coordinated by Activity In-charge Mr. Priyank Sharma, with the dedicated support of the coordinators and teaching staff. Plant Trees Protect Nature Secure Our Future
