Description : The improbable success of Lakshmi Bai Academy Jind in Girls Kabaddi Competition at Jewar, 'Baldev Chhath Fair' Perfect balance between 'holding on' and 'letting go' is required in a game like Kabaddi, Jewar, Baldev Chhath mela was the venue of 22 girls kabaddi teams from various sports academies and schools of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi. Kabaddi is the game of strength which is characterized by breath control techniques a blend of rugby and wrestling. It develops the overall mental and physical strength. All schools and academics gave their best performance in the Girls Kabaddi competition which started from Thursday in Baldev Chhath Fair. On Thursday, the girls team of Pragyan Public School, Jewar defeated the girls team of Adarsh Inter College, Jewar by 41 points; the girls team of SSA Kurukshetra defeated Balyan Sports Academy Jattari by 26 points; the team of Jeevan Singh Mahavidhyalaya defeated the team of Talyan Sports Academy, Meerut by 01 point, the team of Nain Sports Academy defeated the team of Sarvodaya Inter College, Vaina by 47 points. In the semi-finals of this Girls Kabaddi competition, the team of Lakshmi Bai Academy Jind defeated the team of Eklavya Academy Delhi by 32 points and the team of Kalinga Academy Bhiwani defeated the team of Pragyan Public School, Jewar by 10 points. In the final of the competition, the team of Lakshmi Bai Academy Jind performed brilliantly and won the competition by defeating the team of Kalinga Academy Bhiwani. In this competition, the teams of (Lakshmi Bai Academy Jind and Kalinga Academy Bhiwani) coming first and second respectively were honored by the chief guest Mr. Narayan Maheshwari and Mr. O.P. Sharma awarded with amount of Rs 31000 and Rs 21000 respectively. In this competition, Manjeet Mor of Lakshmi Bai Academy, Jind was honored with the best player award, an A-One cycle. The entire arrangement of this girls Kabaddi competition, organized with the courtesy of Pragyan Public School, Jewar, was done by the school manager Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma and the school treasurer Mr. Amol Kumar Sharma played a special role in the successful organization of this competition. Guest Shri O.P. Sharma (Manager Shri Dau Ji Mandir Managing Committee), Banwari Lal Sharma (General Secretary Shri Dau Ji Mandir Managing Committee), Shri Amol Kumar Sharma (Treasurer Pragyan Public School Jewar), Shri Ajay Sharma (Secretary District Kabaddi Association) Gautam Buddha Nagar and International Referee) and Harendra Sharma were Jewar. Mr. Gajendra Singh Yadav, Mr. Praveen Sharma, Mr. Rajendra Nigam, Mr. Nepal Singh, Mr. Rashid of Pragyan Public School, Jewar. Nitin Sharma, Mr.Ajay Sharma, Mr.Kailash Sharma, Mr. Virendra Tomar, Mr. Anil Balyan etc. played a special role in the successful conduct of this competition.
