Description : Jewar-04 October 2023/ A special Sankirtan Meditation Camp was organized by ISKCON at Pragyan Public School, Jewar. This program was organized especially for the students of classes 11th and 12th of the school. The meditation camp was inaugurated by the school manager Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma, Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma and ISKCON representative Honorable Bhakta Roopdas by lightning the lamp in front of Goddess Saraswati. In this Sankirtan Camp, devotee Roopdas ji explained the Indian spiritual tradition along with materialism as the basis of human life through references to the scriptures of Sanatan culture Shrimadbhagvadgita, Vedas, Puranas etc. While telling the students and teachers about the methods of meditation, he told about the importance of the Mahamantra 'Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare • Hare Ram Hare Ram Ram Ram Hare Hare'. In this program, School Manager Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma and Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma expressed gratitude to ISKCON representative Honorable Bhakta Roopdas for organizing a meditation camp in the school and said that along with material progress, spiritual progress is the main goal of human life.
