Description : The CBSE Capacity Building Program Workshop on School Health and Wellness was held on 24th & 25th November, 2023 in Pragyan Public School Jewar. The workshop aimed to equip educators with comprehensive strategies and insights into promoting holistic health and wellness among students in line with CBSE guidelines.The resource persons were Ms.Smita Mishra Principal Karl Huber School,Noida and Ms.Chanda Jha,PGT Biology Shambhu Dyal Global School Ghaziabad.Our Manager Sir Mr.Harish Kumar Sharma and Principal Mrs.Deepti Sharma welcomed the esteemed guests and presented them the saplings and greeting cards.The Workshop was initiated with paying the gratitude to Goddess Saraswati and a beautiful welcome song by our students.In this workshop,teachers of approximately 12 schools of Distt-Gautam Buddha Nagar and Distt-Bulandshahr participated.The main agendas of this workshop were Gender Equality, Myth and Misconceptions related to adolescence, Difference between Sex and Gender,Mental Health, Personal Hygiene, Sanitation, Nutrition, Healthy habits etc.The speakers conducted interactive sessions by performing Activities, Role Play and shared successful Case Studies ,best practices with the audiences.They had a fruitful discussions on incorporating health and wellness components across subjects and grade levels.This event was organized under the supervision of Dr.Suresh Chhonker Academic Incharge and Ms.Archana Pandey Health and Wellness Coordinator of Pragyan. The CBSE Capacity Building Workshop on School Health and Wellness served as a platform for educators to acquire valuable knowledge and resources essential for nurturing the overall well-being of students. The dissemination of best practices and practical strategies will undoubtedly contribute to fostering healthier environment in Pragyan.
