Description : On the auspicious occasion of Swami Vivekananda Ji Jayanti, a cultural program was organized at Pragyan Public School, Jewar, on January 17, 2024, under the supervision of the Nehru Youth Center, Greater Noida, initiated by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the school Manager , Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma, the Principal Ms Deepti Sharma, the school Treasurer, Mr. Amol Kumar Sharma, Mrs. Snigdha Singh (District Youth Officer, Nehru Youth Center Gautam Buddh Nagar), and Mr. Faramud Akhtar (A.P.E.). During the occasion, the school welcomed the district youth officer Mrs. Snigdha Singh, Mr. Rakesh Kumar (Traffic Police Inspector, Gautam Buddh Nagar), Mr. Rajendra Dixit (Sub Inspector Traffic Police, Gautam Buddh Nagar), Mr. Faramud Akhtar, and Dinesh Sharma with the offering of saplings and cards. As part of the festivities, the school organized a cultural House-wise competition among its students, and the presentations by students created a melodious atmosphere. In conjunction with the National Road Safety Week, the school provided students with information related to road safety. Mr. Rakesh Kumar (Traffic Police Inspector, Gautam Buddh Nagar) and Mr. Rajendra Dixit (Sub Inspector Traffic Police, Gautam Buddh Nagar) enlightened students on aspects such as the use of helmets, adhering to speed limits, maintaining proper distance from other vehicles, and using seat belts. Additionally, the students received training from traffic police officers for assistance. The students Suryansh, Hardik, Satyam, Rishabh and Om were honored with traffic police caps and shirts. The school Manager, Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma and the Principal, Ms Deepti Sharma, expressed gratitude to the Nehru Youth Center and traffic police officials for organizing the National Youth Day/Week and National Road Safety Week events.
