Description : 7 August 2024/Hariyali Teej Festival was celebrated with great pomp and gaiety in Pragyan Public School Jewar. This auspicious festival, we celebrate every year on the third day of Shukla Paksh of the month of Sawan. It is dedicated to Jagadamba Parvati and Lord Shiva. Married women worship Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati and observe fast by doing sixteen adornments to wish for their husband's long , happy life and unbroken good fortune. Hariyali Teej Festival was organized in the school especially for the girl students and teachers. Hariyali Teej Festival was inaugurated by the school manager Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma, Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma and Treasurer Mr. Amol Kumar Sharma by lighting a lamp in front of Maa Saraswati. On this occasion, mehndi was applied by the teachers and students and programs of songs, music and dance dedicated to Lord Shiva and Jagadamba Parvati were presented. All female Teachers of the school participated in this festival with great enthusiasm. At the end of the program, delicious dishes were distributed as prasad to everyone. The school manager Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma, while highlighting the importance of Hariyali Teej, called this festival a festival of the importance of nature and inspired everyone to contribute to the protection of the environment. The school's Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma, while exploring the importance of the history of 'Hariyali Teej' and the importance of religious and cultural traditions, wished everyone a Happy Hariyali Teej.
