Description : A Traffic Awareness Campaign was organized at Pragyan Public School, Jewar with the aim of making the students aware of traffic rules. The program was inaugurated with the lighting of lamps by the School Manager Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma, Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma, Treasurer Mr. Amol Kumar Sharma, Traffic Police Incharge Mr. Rajendra Dixit and Traffic Police Sub Inspector Mr. Rakesh Kumar Yadav. The guests were greeted by presenting saplings and a mementos. On this occasion, Mr. Rajendra Dixit (Traffic Police Incharge) gave information about various rules of road safety to the students. He shared with the students the rules and regulations of helmet use, seat belt use, following speed limits, following traffic signals, caution during overtaking, extra caution related to bad weather etc. and the details of following these rules. The program was successfully conducted by the Head of the Physical Education Department Mr. Gajendra Singh Yadav and his team. This campaign played an important role in increasing awareness about traffic rules among the students.
