Description : Two-Day Scouts and Guides Camp at Pragyan December 5, 2024: Pragyan Public School, Jewar hosted a two-day Scouts and Guides camp organized by The Bharat Scouts and Guides Federation, Gautam Buddh Nagar, on November 4-5, 2024. Under the guidance of Head of Physical Education, Mr. Gajendra Singh Yadav, nearly 1000 students from Grades 3 to 12 participated enthusiastically. Day 1: District Training Advisors Mr. Vikas Kumar (Scouts) and Ms. Kavita Gautam (Guides) introduced students to the history, principles, and practices of Scouts and Guides, teaching them greetings, claps, flags, promises, and badges. Day 2: Focused on disaster management skills, where students practiced tent-making and survival techniques based on geographical challenges like floods and earthquakes. The camp emphasized discipline and the importance of nation-building. School Manager Dr. Harish Kumar Sharma, Principal Dr. Deepti Sharma, and Treasurer Mr. Amol Kumar Sharma commended the students for their active participation and expressed gratitude to the trainers for inspiring the youth.
