Description : The traditional Dauji Fair, organized every year on the occasion of Lord Balaram’s birth anniversary Baldev Chhath, once again witnessed a blend of religious and cultural festivities, where the Girls’ Kabaddi Tournament emerged as the main highlight. The tournament was hosted with the courtesy of Pragyan Public School, Jewar, and was held from 29th to 31st August.Renowned teams from Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Himachal Pradesh participated in the tournament. After thrilling matches from the preliminary rounds to the quarterfinals and semifinals, the ITBP team clinched the winner’s trophy by defeating Radhe Ved Academy by 6 points in the final, while Radhe Ved Academy stood runner-up. Priyanka, a player from Radhe Ved Academy, was declared the “Raider of the Tournament.”The champion team, ITBP, was awarded a cash prize of ₹51,000, while the runner-up, Radhe Ved Academy, received ₹31,000 as recognition. In the prize distribution ceremony, distinguished guests including Mr. Om Prakash Sharma (President, Shri Dauji Mandir Management Committee Jewar), Mr. Anil Kumar Sharma (Executive President), Mr. Amol Kumar Sharma (Treasurer, Pragyan Public School), Mr. Banwari Lal Sharma (General Secretary), and Mr. Sunil Kumar Bhardwaj (Inspector), awarded and encouraged the winning and runner-up players. On this occasion, Mr. Ashwini Sharma, Mr. Amarkant Sharma, Mr. Deepkant Sharma, Mr. Kailash Chand Sharma (Treasurer), and Mr. Vijay Kumar Sharma (Account Inspector) were also present.The successful management of the tournament was carried out under the guidance of School Manager Dr. Harish Kumar Sharma, Principal Dr. Deepti Sharma, and Treasurer Mr. Amol Kumar Sharma, with support from Mr. Gajendra Singh Yadav, Head of the Physical Education Department.
