Description : On the eve of Teachers' Day Pragyan Public School, Jewar, celebrated this special day with great enthusiasm and reverence to honour the invaluable role of teachers in shaping the lives of students. The programme was graced by the presence of the School Manager Dr.Harish Kumar Sharma, the Principal Dr.Deepti Sharma teachers, and students.The event commenced with the Lamp Lighting Ceremony, symbolising the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge. This was followed by a melodious Group Singing performance by the Junior Wing, which set a devotional and joyous tone. Teachers from PIS showcased their talent through a lively Group Dance performance, adding charm to the occasion.A special Cake Ceremony was organised to mark the celebration, after which Manager Sir Dr.Harish Kumar Sharma delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the dedication and contribution of teachers in nation-building. The programme then continued with a soulful Poem recital by Mr. Swaraj from the Senior Wing and an energetic Solo Dance by Mr. Pankaj from the Music Department.Principal Dr.Deepti Sharma addressed the gathering with her motivating words, appreciating the efforts of teachers and students in upholding the values of the institution. The cultural segment further included solo and group performances like singing by Mr. J.M. and Mr. Ravinder, group dance by RK, and a solo dance by Ms. Latika from the Junior Wing.The spiritual fervour was enhanced by Bhajans presented by Mr. K.P. (Senior Wing) and Mr. Harishankar (DB). The programme reached its finale with a graceful Duet Dance performance by Ms. Deepti and Ms. Barkha from the Music Department, leaving the audience spellbound. The event concluded on a joyous note, with everyone cherishing the memorable day.
