Description : Pragyan Public School, Jewar, Gautambudh Nagar achieved a proud milestone as it was officially awarded the prestigious declaration of “Tobacco & Drug-Free Educational Institute” by the authorities of Uttar Pradesh Government. The event was facilitated at Indus Valley School, Noida. This certificate recognizes the school’s sincere compliance with all guidelines outlined by the Tobacco Free Educational Institutional Campus (ToFEI) initiative, supported by the Chief Medical Officer and the District Magistrate, Gautambudh Nagar. The recognition was granted after a systematic process including self-evaluation, submission of the institutional scorecard, and self-declaration by the school authorities, validating the campus as safe, healthy, and addiction-free. To mark this accomplishment, the school previously conducted multiple awareness activities including poster-making campaigns (Classes 6–8), rallies by senior students (Classes 8, 9, and 11), tobacco-free banners displayed across campus, and slogan drives during assemblies. The school Manager Dr. Harish Kumar Sharma and the Principal Dr. Deepti Sharma jointly praised the efforts of teachers and students.
