Description : A Parents’ Orientation Programme titled “Manthan” under the aegis of Jiva Education, was organized in Pragyan Public school to strengthen the partnership between parents and teachers in nurturing the holistic development of students. The programme focused on the theme “Value System and Self-Discovery: Reviving Indian Culture, Values and traditions”. The session was conducted by the esteemed resource person Mr. Jai Vir Singh from Jiva Education who shared valuable insights with parents about the importance of value-based upbringing and the role of family in shaping a child’s character and personality. The programme began with the ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolizing the light of knowledge and wisdom. The distinguished resource person, Mr. Jai Vir Singh, was warmly welcomed with a sapling and a greeting card as a token of respect and appreciation. Parents of Classes III to VI attended the orientation and actively participated in the interactive session. During the programme, Mr. Jai Vir Singh emphasized the importance of nurturing children with strong moral values, self-awareness, and respect for Indian culture and traditions. He encouraged parents to work in close collaboration with teachers to create a positive and supportive environment for children’s academic as well as personal growth. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the respected Principal Dr. Deepti Sharma expressing gratitude to the resource person and Jiva Education for organizing such a meaningful and enriching orientation programme.
