Description : Pragyan Public School organized a CBSE Capacity Building Programme on “Educating Parents about Education” for teachers with the objective of strengthening parent-school collaboration and enhancing educators’ understanding of effective parent engagement.The resource persons were Dr. Ashish Mittal (Master Trainer & Principal of Indirapuram Public School) & Dr. Preethy Aggrawal (Master Trainer).The Manager Dr. Harish Kumar Sharma, the Principal Dr. Deepti Sharma welcomed the resource persons with bouquet ,cards and saplings.The Program initiated with paying gratitude to goddess Saraswati and beautiful prayer .The workshop focused on the evolving educational landscape, competency-based learning, holistic development, assessment reforms, and the significant role parents play in supporting their children's academic and emotional growth. The session provided valuable insights into helping parents understand modern teaching-learning methodologies, the vision of NEP 2020, and the importance of creating a supportive and nurturing learning environment at home. Through interactive discussions and activities, teachers explored practical ways to communicate educational goals, student progress, and developmental needs effectively to parents.The Principal Dr.Deepti Sharma in her address, highlighted the need to educate parents about contemporary educational practices and changing assessment patterns. The programme proved to be highly informative and enriching, equipping teachers with effective strategies to build stronger relationships with parents and create a more inclusive educational ecosystem. The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks, reaffirming the school’s commitment to fostering a collaborative culture where parents, teachers, and students work together towards holistic development and lifelong learning.
