Description : Pragyan Public School, Jewar successfully organised a Geeta Chanting Competition on 25th July 2026 in a spiritually enriching and inspiring atmosphere. Students from LKG to Class XII enthusiastically participated, showcasing their devotion, confidence, and exceptional recitation skills. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana. The school was honoured by the gracious presence of distinguished guests from Chinmaya Mission, Noida—Mrs Komal (Coordinator), Mrs Anushree Sen (Judge), and Mr Venu Madhav (Judge), who inspired the gathering with their valuable presence. The guests were warmly welcomed by Principal Dr Deepti Sharma with saplings and greeting cards as tokens of respect. During the competition, students beautifully recited verses from Chapter 12 (Bhakti Yoga) of the Bhagavad Gita, demonstrating clear pronunciation, rhythmic chanting, confidence, and deep devotion. Addressing the gathering, Manager Dr Harish Kumar Sharma highlighted the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita and encouraged students to follow the principle of "Karmanye Vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana", inspiring them to perform their duties with dedication without worrying about the results. In her motivational address, Principal Dr Deepti Sharma emphasised that nurturing young minds with the values and teachings of the Bhagavad Gita is essential for building a disciplined, responsible, and morally strong generation. The guests from Chinmaya Mission highly appreciated the students' sincere efforts, melodious recitation, and spiritual enthusiasm. Participants and teachers described the event as enriching, inspiring, and deeply meaningful, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the school management and Chinmaya Mission for organising such a value-based initiative.
