Description : Pragyan Public School, Jewar, celebrated Teachers’ Day with a grand and memorable cultural programme. The occasion was marked by vibrant performances by the teachers, who showcased their remarkable talents through music, dance, singing, and acting, making the celebration truly unforgettable. The programme was organised in the school hall, with enthusiastic participation from teachers of the Pragyan Group’s associate institutions—Pragyan International School, Dudhera, and R.K. Academy, Shahpur. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp before Goddess Saraswati by Manager Dr. Harish Kumar Sharma, Principal Dr. Deepti Sharma, Treasurer Mr. Amol Kumar Sharma, and all the Faculty In-charges. A heartfelt tribute was also paid to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the great ambassador of Indian culture, eminent philosopher, educationist, and the second President of India, whose birth anniversary is celebrated as Teachers’ Day. The programme began with a warm welcome to the dignitaries, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony. The cultural performances then unfolded with great enthusiasm and energy. The Social Science Department presented a melodious group song, while the English Department enthralled the audience with a vibrant group dance. The Sanskrit and Hindi Departments presented a soulful Shloka Recitation, and the Mathematics Department captivated everyone with a solo song. The Science Department presented an energetic group dance, followed by a melodious musical performance by the Music Department. The celebrations were further enriched by a group dance and duet singing performance by R.K. Academy, while Pragyan International School also presented a captivating group dance. The programme concluded with an inspiring address and words of gratitude by Principal Dr. Deepti Sharma, followed by the National Anthem. The school management organised a special feast for all the teachers as a gesture of appreciation and gratitude. Manager Dr. Harish Kumar Sharma, Principal Dr. Deepti Sharma, and Treasurer Mr. Amol Kumar Sharma felicitated all the teachers by presenting them with mementoes and gifts in recognition of their dedication and invaluable contribution to the institution. On the occasion, Manager Dr. Harish Kumar Sharma highlighted the inspiring personality and thoughts of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
